Phoenix Soaring’s Founder, Steve Valdez, holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Mount Saint Mary College (Newburgh, NY), a Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion (Berkeley, CA), and an M.A. in Psychology from Ashford University (Clinton, IA), all of which have allowed him to do what he is most passionate about: making a positive difference in the lives of others. 

Having spent the first part of his life helping businesses and organizations in the fields of higher education, healthcare and the nonprofit sectors become stronger, more efficient and better places to work, Steve is now focused on helping individuals find that same peace and strength. 

Steve and his husband have five adopted children who are the light of their lives. He is an avid sports fan, having played and coached tennis in college, and he continues to coach youth sports today. Steve is not afraid to go outside of his comfort zone and has even run a marathon in Italy to challenge himself and raise funds for charity!
